The men of the Holy Name Society of Jesus wish to share with you part of a letter of thanks recently received from the Sisters of Charity in Haiti: Dear Friends: We thank you for your loving concern for the poorest of the poor entrusted to our care. You surely know that Haiti is still going through hard and difficult times and the poor people are the first to suffer from this situation. With the generous help expressed by the parishioners of St. Patrick Church, we are able to help them in their many needs and pains, showing that God loves them and really cares for them. We tried to make Christmas a day not like other days in our home and in the homes of families we visit or who come to us for help…To date, through your generosity, we have donated $4210.40 to help the sisters with their work in Haiti orphanage. The poor boxes are located at the entrance of the church. Thank you for your support.
